In the autumn of 2025, interest in searching for new jobs in the Nizhny Novgorod region increased noticeably. According to analysts at hh.ru, over the past month the number of updated and posted resumes in the region rose by 6% compared with August and by 32% compared with the same period last year.
In total, more than 141.5 thousand up-to-date resumes from residents of the region are now posted on the platform.
The most activity in September was shown by specialists in sports clubs, fitness and beauty salons — the number of resumes in this segment grew by 21%. Demand for services related to health and appearance traditionally increases in the autumn, which contributes to greater workforce movement in this industry.
Specialists in medicine and pharmaceuticals (+15%), insurance (+14%), and finance and accounting (+13%) also showed strong growth. Activity among administrative staff, lawyers, procurement specialists, as well as representatives of the scientific and educational sectors increased by 11%.
A moderate but steady rise in interest in employment was recorded in the human resources, training, arts, entertainment and mass media segments — 10% in each area.
Experts note that in autumn the region’s labor market is showing signs of revival: after the summer lull, residents are returning to the search for new career opportunities. According to hh.ru analysts, the increase in resume updates indicates the return of jobseekers to the labor market and intensifying competition for the most attractive vacancies in the region.
It was previously reported that in the autumn it became more difficult to find a job in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
