Nizhny Novgorod residents can vote for improvements under the "You Decide!" project.

      On October 15, the main stage of the public vote for the governor’s participatory budgeting project “You Decide!” officially began in the region.

      From October 15 to December 1, 2025, residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region aged 16 and over can vote for initiative projects proposed by citizens to improve their territories.

      This year more than 800 applications from residents of the region were submitted for the competitive selection.

      Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin noted that the “You Decide!” project has become an important part of the region’s life during its implementation and effectively brings people together to solve common problems. According to him, the voting stage is not only decisive in determining the winners but also the most democratic, as it allows every resident to support a preferred project in any district of the region. Thanks to participatory budgeting, the head of the region emphasized, even small settlements can significantly improve the quality of life. The governor invited all Nizhny Novgorod residents to review the projects and take an active part in the voting.

      The public vote is the key stage of the competitive selection. Its results will determine the winning projects that will receive funding from the regional budget for implementation in 2026.

      The final results of the vote will be published after the work of the selection commission is completed and the results are summed up by the end of the year.

      To take part in the vote, you need to:

      - Go to the official project website: golosza.ru.

      - In the relevant section, select your municipal or urban district.

      - Review the list of submitted initiatives.

      - Log in via the Gosuslugi portal or through the simplified system (participants from previous years can sign in using their phone number).

      - Vote for one selected initiative.
