Former managing director of TNS Energo Nizhny Novgorod, Vasily Sitdikov, was released from obligations to the company in the amount of 785.6 million rubles. This decision was issued by the appellate arbitration court after considering the debtor’s defense appeal, reports "Kommersant‑Privolzhye."

The court of second instance applied to Sitdikov the rule that allows debts to be written off after the completion of bankruptcy proceedings. This means that he is no longer obliged to pay the specified amount to the energy company.

Despite the appellate decision, it has not yet come into force. TNS Energo Nizhny Novgorod retains the right to appeal the verdict to the cassation court.

Earlier, the Arbitration Court concluded Sitdikov’s bankruptcy case, having declared him insolvent back in 2021. As part of the procedure, the debtor’s assets were sold off, and the financial manager submitted a report on the work carried out. After reviewing it, the court ordered the case to be closed.

It is also recalled that, by court order, almost 39 million rubles were recovered from the former management of Nizhny Novgorod’s Radiotechbank.
