About 39 million rubles were recovered from the former management of Nizhny Novgorod's Radiotechbank.
09 October 2025 18:35 Society — The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation refused to consider the cassation appeal of former board member of Nizhny Novgorod PJSC NKB "Radiotechbank" Vitaly Kuzmin. This was reported by the press service of the Deposit Insurance Agency.
Thus, the rulings of lower courts, which found Kuzmin guilty and held him subsidiarily liable with the subsequent recovery of losses in favor of the bank, have come into force.
Earlier, other representatives of the bank’s former management were held liable in a similar manner. They include former board members Alexander Smolentsev and Alexander Stepanov, as well as former chairman of the board Evgeny Grin. More than 39 million rubles have been recovered jointly from these individuals.
According to the Deposit Insurance Agency, the total potential claims against Radiotechbank’s former management may exceed 2.6 billion rubles. The exact amount will be determined after all settlements with creditors are completed.
Recall that in 2019 PJSC NKB "Radiotechbank", registered in Nizhny Novgorod, was declared bankrupt.
It was also reported that an additional two billion rubles are planned to be recovered from the former head of Nizhny Novgorod, Oleg Sorokin.
