      The direction of the main road will change at the intersection of Nizhegorodskaya and Gogol streets in Nizhny Novgorod. According to the city transport department, this will take effect on October 13.

      At the intersection, priority will be given to vehicles traveling along Nizhegorodskaya from the Ilyinka side and turning left onto Gogol Street toward Malaya Pokrovskaya; in the opposite direction, priority will apply when turning right from Gogol onto Nizhegorodskaya toward Ilyinka. Previously, the main road belonged to cars traveling straight along Gogol Street.

      The relevant department clarified that the traffic pattern had to be changed due to increased traffic flow from Ilyinka, where tram tracks are being repaired.

      According to the information provided, new road signs will be installed there from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM on October 13. During this period, drivers are asked to be especially careful when passing through the intersection.

      This scheme will remain in effect until the track relaying on Ilyinskaya is completed. Afterwards, specialists will decide whether to restore the previous direction of the main road at the Nizhegorodskaya–Gogol intersection or keep the current scheme.
