Preventive visit

      A unified frequency for conducting preventive visits for businesses has been approved

      Officially published and coming into force on October 14, 2025, is the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated October 1, 2025 No. 1511 “On the frequency of mandatory preventive visits within the framework of state control (supervision) and municipal control.”

      According to the decree, the frequency of mandatory preventive visits will depend on the risk category and will be:

      - for objects of control classified as significant risk, no more than one visit every three years;

      - for objects of control classified as medium risk, no more than one visit every five years;

      - for objects of control classified as moderate risk, no more than one visit every six years.

      When determining the frequency, mandatory preventive visits conducted in relation to controlled entities that have only just begun their activities are not taken into account.
