A drunk driver rammed seven parked cars in Sarov.

      In Sarov, police are investigating the circumstances of a traffic accident that occurred the previous evening and caused widespread damage to vehicles. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The incident occurred on October 9 at about 20:55 on Silkina Street. According to preliminary information, a 44-year-old man, while driving a Renault, lost control and crashed into parked cars. Seven vehicles were damaged in the collision.

      Traffic police officers established that the driver was intoxicated. A medical examination confirmed the presence of alcohol in his system.

      An administrative protocol has been drawn up against the offender for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

      Further investigation is underway.

      Earlier it was reported that in the Voskresensky District a drunk driver crashed into a tree. His 8-year-old daughter was killed in the accident.
