Authorities will discuss the possible construction of a Wildberries warehouse with the residents of Novinki.
October 11, 2025, 10:51 — Society: Authorities of the Nizhny Novgorod region intend to hold a meeting with residents of the settlement of Novinki to discuss the prospect of constructing a large logistics center for Wildberries.
According to the region’s Ministry of Urban Planning and Agglomeration Development, the event is provisionally scheduled for October 25. Representatives of the ministry said this on social media in response to citizens’ inquiries.
Local residents previously expressed concern about the possible construction of the warehouse. In their opinion, the project’s implementation will negatively affect living conditions in Novinki and the territory of the Oksky Bereg residential complex.
In August 2025, Wildberries representatives commented on the situation, saying that the information being circulated was not true. The company stressed that a final decision on the site for the logistics center has not yet been made.
It was also reported that an investment agreement for the construction of a modern logistics complex worth 12 billion rubles was approved in Nizhny Novgorod.
