More than 4 million rubles will be allocated for new lighting of the Kanavinsky Bridge.

      An upgrade of the architectural and artistic lighting of the Kanavinsky Bridge is planned in Nizhny Novgorod. The city's Department of Economics and Investments has announced an electronic auction to select a contractor.

      According to the public procurement portal, the starting contract price is 4.1 million rubles. Applications from participants are accepted until October 25, 2025. The work must be completed by December 31 of the current year. The warranty on the lighting equipment under the contract must be at least 24 months.

      According to the published documentation, a total of 672 linear luminaires and 524 spotlights of various types are planned to be installed on the bridge. The lighting system will be considered operational if at least 95% of the bridge's lighting equipment is working. In the event of a luminaire failure, the contractor undertakes to replace the faulty element.

      It was previously reported that four bridges over the Oka River in Nizhny Novgorod were equipped with a modern intelligent safety system.

      It should also be recalled that around 38 million rubles have been allocated for the festive decoration of Nizhny Novgorod for the New Year and Christmas.
