      The "Volunteer Center of the Nizhny Novgorod Region" announces the start of a large-scale regional survey among heads of volunteer organizations and the volunteers themselves. The aim of the initiative is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the current situation, collect proposals from the direct participants of the movement, and develop strategically sound approaches to the development of volunteering in the Nizhny Novgorod Region for the coming years.

      The relevance of the study is underscored by the region's outstanding results. Based on the results of 2024, the Nizhny Novgorod Region confirmed its status as one of the leaders of the volunteer movement in Russia, taking first place in the nationwide ranking of the effectiveness of constituent entities of the Russian Federation in developing volunteer activity among regions with a population of more than 2 million people. For comparison, in 2023 the region ranked 6th, and in 2022 — 75th.

      To maintain leadership positions and ensure quality growth, it is necessary not only to rely on statistics but also to deeply understand internal processes, incentives, and the needs of the volunteer community.

      The survey is dedicated to topics such as volunteer motivation, the demand for support measures, and proposals for the development of volunteering in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The Volunteer Center expects unique ideas and initiatives from movement participants on how to make regional volunteering even more cohesive, technological, and socially significant.

      "By conducting this survey, we are not only collecting opinions but also laying the foundation for concrete development tools. Even today we are actively preparing to create a collection of the best volunteer practices of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Our goal is not just to record successes, but to create a working resource, a living tool for exchanging experience. We are confident that there is enormous potential for innovation in our community, so we invite all heads and leaders of volunteer associations to share their developments and opinions.
