More than a ton of alcohol and over 56,000 packs of tobacco products were seized by police in a Kstovo store. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
Law enforcement officers raided the retail outlet at the end of September. There, not only alcohol and tobacco but also more than 200 grams of "nasvay" were being sold illegally (without a license and the necessary documents). An administrative report was filed against the director of the LLC for this (Part 2 of Article 14.53 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation).
In addition, another 238 sachets containing a green mixture that were also found in the store were sent for examination.
A criminal case was opened against the store owner for illegal trade. He pleaded guilty.
Police clarified that the individual had previously been repeatedly held administratively liable for violating the rules for the sale of alcoholic products.
