      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can expect a sharp change in weather conditions in the coming days. According to the Yandex.Weather service, precipitation in the form of sleet will fall as early as October 22, and daytime temperatures will not exceed +4 °C.

      At the moment the region is experiencing fairly warm and dry autumn weather, with daytime temperatures warming to +15…+16 °C. However, a noticeable cooling accompanied by rain will begin by the end of the week.

      Thus, on Sunday, October 12, forecasters promise no more than +9 °C. By October 16 temperatures will drop to +5 °C by day and +2 °C at night. Cloudy weather is forecast for the whole week.

      Rain with snow can also be expected on October 24–25.

      And already on October 29, according to preliminary forecasts, the first nighttime frosts are possible in Nizhny Novgorod; air temperatures may fall below zero. The first full snowfall of the new season is likely in early November — on the 6th and 7th.

      Earlier it was reported that the average air temperature in Nizhny Novgorod in October would be at long-term norms.
