In 2026 pension payments in Russia will increase by about 9%. This was stated by State Duma deputy Alexey Govyrin to TASS.

Insurance pensions for non-working pensioners will be raised twice — first on February 1, then on April 1. The first increase will take into account the actual inflation for the past year, the second — the data of the Russian Social Fund.

Social pensions, as usual, will be recalculated on April 1. Taking indexation into account, the social pension for persons disabled since childhood in group I and children with disabilities will be about 23,083 rubles. Persons with group I disability, persons disabled since childhood in group II and full orphans will receive about 19,236 rubles. Old-age or survivor’s pensions — about 9,618 rubles; for persons with group III disability — about 8,175 rubles.

The insurance pension with such an increase will be about 9,709 rubles, and the value of the pension coefficient — 158.80 rubles. To these amounts are added regional coefficients and allowances: for age, presence of dependents, disability, northern or rural work experience, as well as top-ups to the subsistence minimum.

Govyrin noted that all figures are preliminary. The exact payment amounts will be approved by the government, after which a recalculation will take place. Individual recalculations will also continue in 2026.

Earlier it was reported that the State Duma proposed introducing an annual 13th pension in Russia.
