Volunteer of the special military operation: "We will crush the enemy, we will win!"

      A group of volunteers set off from Nizhny Novgorod for combat readiness training before participating in the special military operation. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod and people from other regions signed military contracts with the Ministry of Defence of Russia to fulfill their duty to the Motherland and help solve important state tasks.

      A volunteer from Nizhny Novgorod had worked for many years as a heavy goods vehicle driver before signing the contract. At the selection point he was offered to serve in his specialty in a medical company. The man is confident that his professional experience will be of maximum use at the front.

      "I closely follow the news and events at the front. I decided to go and serve myself, to pay my debt to the Motherland. I did my compulsory service and I know well what the army is. I am sure I will cope with the duties. After service I plan to continue working as a driver, but if my help is needed, I will extend the contract without hesitation. Victory will be ours. We are a united people, and God is with us!" said the man from Nizhny Novgorod.

      Another volunteer is originally from Belgorod. His decision to participate in the special military operation is connected with deep personal concerns for his hometown and family. The young man considers himself a patriot and is signing a contract for the fourth time. In the special operation he has mastered many aspects of military affairs: he served as a rifleman in an assault unit, as a commander of a UAV platoon, and is well versed in tactical medicine.

      "I am a compassionate person, and seeing how the enemy shells Belgorod, I cannot stand aside. I have a wife, and a child will be born soon. I want them to be safe. Previously I served in the special military operation in volunteer units, now I have signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence. We will defeat the enemy, we will win!" said the man.

      Another volunteer — until recently a foreman in the field of industrial ventilation — intends to test his strength and abilities in the military sphere. He says he is ready for challenges, confident in Russia's victory, and goes to the front in a fighting spirit.

      "I signed a contract to serve in an intelligence unit. I want to test myself and support the country in a difficult moment. I will help with everything I can. Victory will be for Russia, because it is a great power," he emphasized.

      It should be recalled that the state provides defenders of the Motherland with decent financial support and assists their families. Also, those who sign a contract and go to the area of the special military operation are issued certificates granting 10 sotkas of land in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast (10 sotkas = 1,000 square meters). The certificate can be used two years after receipt.

      In addition, a mechanism for concluding military social contracts operates in Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, which additionally guarantees the contract serviceman’s family 10,000 rubles per month for each child, benefits on utility payments, preschool service fees and other types of support. Individual support for the serviceman’s family is also provided.

      The dispatch of volunteers to their place of service and the issuance of additional equipment are ensured by the Coordination Center for the Support of Servicemen, Mobilized Personnel and Their Families, operating at the House of National Unity.
