      A man lost a mortgaged apartment that was sold to repay a multimillion-ruble debt.

      Enforcement proceedings against the citizen are being carried out by the Vyksa District Department of the Main Directorate of the Federal Bailiff Service (GUFSSP) of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The man has credit debts totaling 3.7 million rubles. The debtor did not respond to contact from the bailiff and does not live at his registered addresses or at the properties he owns. The enforcement officer issued an order restricting his travel outside the Russian Federation, and also imposed a ban on registration actions with respect to the three-room apartment that is the collateral property of a financial institution.

      However, the debtor continued to ignore his financial obligations and avoided meeting with the bailiff. Ultimately, the agency officer placed a seizure on the apartment, measuring about 62 sq. m., and carried out the full procedure to transfer the materials on the seized property for sale. The property was sold at auction to repay the citizen’s debt.
