Parents and teachers from Nizhny Novgorod are invited to free meetings with a psychologist.

      In October, as part of the "LectoriUm" project, Nizhny Novgorod parents and educators are invited to two meetings (0+) where they can receive qualified psychological advice on raising children.

      On October 4, Alexandra Matveykina, a certified trainer and expert in child safety, head of the safety school "Stop Threat", will give the lecture-workshop "Adolescent Safety: How to Be Heard? Current Challenges and Risks-2025". The main topics during the meeting will be the problem of bullying in schools and the adolescent environment, dropping, cyber addiction and dangerous content. The psychologist will explain how parents can notice such dangerous tendencies in a child's behavior, such as risky acquaintances, suicidal thoughts and destructive cults.

      "Another important topic for parents is psychological traps. We will discuss how to recognize the first signs of problems and provide timely help, as well as how to establish trusting communication: learn to speak with teenagers in their language, hear their problems and find solutions together," Alexandra Matveykina explained.

      On October 18 the "LectoriUm" program will feature the topic "Dangerous Perfectionism: the disease of high-achieving moms and victims of Instagram." Cognitive-behavioral psychologist Tatyana Klimakhina will explain in detail what perfectionism is and what causes it, the pros and cons of parental perfectionism, and why it can be dangerous, especially for mothers.

      "Since I myself am a mother of many children, I know the problem of maternal perfectionism firsthand. Therefore I will answer questions about how to help yourself if you are a perfectionist mom or a 'victim' of social networks; we will practice practical skills and learn to help ourselves," Tatyana Klimakhina said.

      Interactive activities for children are provided during the trainings: on October 4 there will be the traditional master class "Rubik's Cube. A lesson for the mind" for children aged 6 to 15 who want to learn to solve the Rubik's Cube using various combinations and methods. On October 18 children will take part in an interactive English language session.

      The meetings will take place from 14:00 to 15:30 at: Nizhny Novgorod, Switzerland Park, Gagarin Avenue 35A, children's center "Bublik", regional center "Vega".

      Recall that the regional center "Vega" was created as part of the federal project "Success of Every Child" of the national project "Education". Since 2025 the center's work has been conducted within the framework of the new national project "Youth and Children". It is being implemented by the order of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The new national project includes nine federal projects and programs: "Russia — a Land of Opportunities", "We Are Together", "Russia in the World", "All the Best for Children", "Leading Schools", "Teachers and Mentors", "Creating a Network of Modern Campuses", "Universities for a Generation of Leaders" and "Professionalitet".
