Nizhny Novgorod residents can join the long-term savings program through "Gosuslugi".

      03 October 2025 19:04 Economy Since October 2025, residents of Nizhny Novgorod have been able to conclude a participation agreement in the Long-Term Savings Program (LSP) online — via the Gosuslugi portal. The LSP is a financial instrument that allows citizens to accumulate savings for significant long-term goals. To conclude the agreement, the user must contact the virtual assistant Max on Gosuslugi: enter the request "join the LSP" and then select the section "more on signing in GosKlyuch." At present, the page can only be accessed through the assistant's search. The agreement is signed using an enhanced unqualified electronic signature that can be obtained in the GosKlyuch app. Today the program is available for concluding agreements with three non-state pension funds (NPFs). The list of partners will be expanded in the future. The program began operating in 2024. Accumulated funds can be used after 15 years of participation or upon reaching retirement age: 55 for women and 60 for men. The formation of long-term savings is achieved through citizens' voluntary contributions, state co-financing, investment income and other sources. Each participant can independently calculate the expected income from the LSP on the Moifinansy.rf portal. The online calculator will show the amount of monthly payments available after 15 years of accumulation. The development of digital services for citizens' convenience is part of the federal project "Digital Platforms in Social Sector Industries." This project is included in the national program "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," the implementation of which began in Russia on January 1, 2025, at the instruction of President Vladimir Putin.
