The Nizhny Novgorod Personnel Center has employed more than 12,000 citizens since the beginning of 2025.

      From January to September 2025, more than 18,600 residents of the region turned to the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center "Work of Russia" for employment assistance, of whom 12,400 have already started new jobs.

      Residents of Nizhny Novgorod filled vacant positions in the defense-industrial complex, trade, medical and educational institutions, and joined the staffs of catering and utilities enterprises. They were employed as engineers, accountants, feldshers (paramedics), vehicle drivers, laboratory technicians, social workers, fitters, turners, system administrators, and others.

      "Nizhny Novgorod Oblast was among the first 17 regions where unified standards for the operation of personnel centers were implemented, which allowed us to establish active cooperation with employers. Residents of the region are successfully finding their place across a wide range of economic sectors — from industry to the social sphere," said Igor Pantyukhin, head of the Department of Labor and Employment of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.

      Personnel center specialists help job seekers select vacancies, write résumés and prepare for interviews; if necessary, they refer them to free retraining programs for occupations in demand in the region. They also provide psychological support, social adaptation and career guidance.

      Employment assistance can be obtained online through the "Work of Russia" portal, as well as by contacting one of the Nizhny Novgorod personnel center offices in person or the institution's official group on the social network VKontakte.

      Recall that since 2025, by order of President Vladimir Putin, the national project "Personnel" has been in effect in Russia. It includes four federal projects: "Labor Market Management," "Active Measures to Promote Employment," "Education for the Labor Market," and "The Worker." The national project's activities are aimed at qualitatively and promptly preparing personnel to meet employers' needs through coordinated work by educational institutions, companies and the state.
