An expert-analytical group will be established at the National Research University "Presidential Academy".

      At a meeting of the new composition of the Academic Council of the NRU Presidential Academy, a decision was made to form a professional expert-analytical group.

      The initiative was put forward by Professor Andrey Dakhin of the Department of Philosophy, Sociology and Psychology of Management. According to him, the group's work will be aimed at analyzing the country's current agenda, preparing proposals for the modernization of educational programs, and increasing the university's expert activity in the region.

      Dakhin noted that specialists will be able to prepare brief analytical materials on current issues, identify strengths and weaknesses in various processes, compare educational content with contemporary challenges, and bring their ideas to the Academic Council for discussion, as well as present them to government authorities.

      In addition, during the meeting they discussed the need for wider application of a point-based rating system in curricula. To exchange experience, it was proposed to more actively practice mutual class observations by faculty members, including between different departments.

      Note that the new composition of the Academic Council was elected on September 29 at a conference of research and teaching staff and heads of structural units. The event was attended by 84 delegates representing all divisions of the institute and the student community.

      As a result of the vote, 27 representatives of the research and teaching staff and the university administration joined the council. The term of office of the Academic Council is five years.
