En+ Group and RUSAL summed up the results of the fifth anniversary season of the Scholarship Program.

This year the organizers of the Scholarship Program received a record 876 applications from high-achieving and good students studying at 58 universities, technical schools and colleges in the fields of energy, metallurgy, mining, medicine and education.

The expert commission focused not only on academic performance but also on victories in contests and competitions, participation in conferences and exhibitions, as well as the candidates’ volunteer and public activities.

The 2025 student winners represent nine regions: Nizhny Novgorod, Ivanovo, Volgograd, Leningrad, Sverdlovsk, Irkutsk and Kemerovo regions, Krasnoyarsk Krai, and the Republic of Khakassia.

“This year a record number of applications was submitted in the history of the program. The expert commission faced a difficult task — with more than seven applicants per place to choose the most deserving, and we are confident that we succeeded. On our part we have contributed to the future of talented students and to the companies. Now it’s up to the young people — they will need to pay even more attention to their studies in order to later join En+ and RUSAL as true professionals. There are already examples: several dozen program participants are working at our enterprises and showing excellent results. We look forward to welcoming the new scholarship recipients!” said Natalya Albrecht, Deputy CEO for Human Resources at En+ and RUSAL.

The competition in the Scholarship Program this year was seven applicants per place. After a rigorous selection, a student from Nizhny Novgorod Polytech won.

“Nizhny Novgorod State Technical University has been cooperating with En+ for four years. This opens up additional opportunities in training future specialists for the energy sector, who not only become acquainted with operating enterprises but also participate in the company’s Scholarship Program. Students already feel the demand for their chosen profession at early stages of their studies and approach the study of their specialization disciplines more consciously. The university and the partner enterprise help in mastering these disciplines. It is pleasing to note that NGTU energy students annually rank among the laureates of En+ and RUSAL named scholarships, and this year was no exception,” said Evgeny Ivashkin, First Vice-Rector and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of NGTU named after R.E. Alekseev.

For the winners of the En+ and RUSAL Scholarship Program, the scholarship amount is up to 15,000 rubles per month for technical school and college students and up to 25,000 rubles for university students. In addition to financial support, scholarship recipients receive the opportunity to participate in the group’s professional conferences and events, undertake internships at En+ and RUSAL enterprises, and use a subscription to a specialized electronic library.
