T Plus improved the operational reliability of the Dzerzhinsk CHP.

A minor inspection — a scheduled repair — was carried out on a 150 MW gas turbine at the Dzerzhinsk CHPP of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of T Plus. The annual scheduled works will help ensure the station’s high operational reliability.
During the inspection, engineers checked the condition of the main components of the combustion chamber and the turbine’s hot-gas path, and replaced worn elements of the thermal-protection tiles.
Specialists also checked the technical condition of the gas turbine’s thrust bearing. The inspection results confirmed the operability of the bearing pads, manufactured with a coating of an innovative polymer material and installed in the bearing in 2024.
At the same time as the gas turbine inspection, engineers carried out scheduled routine maintenance on the gas compressors, the heat-recovery steam generator (HRSG) and the auxiliary equipment of the combined-cycle unit.
