      An incident involving a car-sharing vehicle occurred on 27 September in Nizhny Novgorod on Ilyinskaya Street. According to the press service of the regional traffic police department, the accident happened at around 13:20 near building No. 1a.

      According to preliminary information, a female driver born in 2005, while driving a Volkswagen belonging to a car‑sharing service, was reversing and failed to ensure the safety of the maneuver, striking a female pedestrian born in 1985.

      As a result of the incident the victim sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital.

      This is by no means the first accident involving a car‑sharing vehicle in the regional center in 2025.
