Mayor: heating has been restored to most homes and social facilities in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The launch of the heating season in Nizhny Novgorod is wrapping up — all municipal boiler houses have already been put into operation, and heat is being supplied to the majority of social facilities and residential buildings. This was reported on his Telegram channel by Mayor Yury Shalabaev.

      According to him, as of the evening of 26 September heating has been supplied to 98% of kindergartens and 97% of schools. At the same time, the resource-supplying company "Teploenergo" reported that in its area of responsibility these figures have already reached 100%. The level of connection for healthcare institutions was also reported to be close to 90%.

      As for the housing stock, heat is being supplied to 7,135 apartment buildings — almost 90% of the total number of apartment buildings in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The mayor emphasized that the adjustment of all systems and the supply of heating to all facilities in the city is nearing completion.
