The torture of children by their peers in Bor has resulted in a criminal case.

      A criminal case has been opened over the beating of children in the Borsky district, the press service of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region reported.

      Earlier a TV report appeared in the media about girls who abuse their peers and younger children while filming it. The investigative authorities took an interest in this information.

      The head of the regional Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Ayrat Akhmetshin, ordered that a criminal case be opened under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, "Torture", which has now been done.

      A number of investigative actions are being carried out to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

      Another incident occurred at School No. 117 in the Sormovsky district. There, students forced a boy to kneel and made him apologize on camera for bad behavior. According to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod", an inquiry has been launched at the educational institution.
