"Black" sewage hauler dumped waste onto a well-maintained beach in Vorotyntse

      Residents of the settlement of Vorotynets in the Nizhny Novgorod region witnessed a flagrant violation of sanitary norms. A sewage truck dumped waste directly on the public beach by the Gremyachka River. A local resident photographed the incident, reports the news agency "Vremya N".

      According to eyewitnesses, this year the riverbank was improved: the bottom was cleaned, fresh sand was brought in, the area was leveled, benches were installed and an asphalt path was laid. The beach has become a popular place of recreation for local residents, especially in hot weather. It is often possible to see people relaxing with children, anglers, and on the water — wild ducks and white swans.

      The appearance of a sewage truck dumping waste near the recreation area provoked public outcry. Local residents fear for people’s health and the preservation of the natural environment.

      Citizens appealed to the administration asking it to intervene and take the necessary measures so that this does not happen again.

      Earlier it was reported that about 50 "black" sewage operators were fined in Nizhny Novgorod.

      It should also be recalled that a "black" sewage operator was caught near the Kudma River in the Kstovsky District.
