Thirty-two participants of the "SVOe Delo" project took part in a seminar on developing business competencies in Lukoyanov, Pavlovo and the village of Vad. The project is being implemented by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship and the regional "My Business" center with the support of the branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, the personnel center "Work of Russia", the Department for Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Center for Social Sphere Innovations, and the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."

Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that seminar participants of the "SVOe Delo" project came from the Vadsky, Dalnekonstantinovsky, Knyagininsky, Sechenovsky, Bolsheboldinsky, Pochinkovsky, Gaginsky, Lukoyanovsky, Pavlovsky, Sosnovsky and Vachsky municipal districts, as well as the urban districts of Dzerzhinsk and Perevozsky.

"Entrepreneurship is one way for SVO veterans to find themselves and realize their potential in peaceful life. The 'SVOe Delo' project provides all the necessary resources to achieve this goal. We offer program participants a comprehensive approach: from helping to determine a direction in entrepreneurship to forming a solid base of knowledge and practical skills for effective business management," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The minister added that at the municipal seminars participants learned about the legal aspects of business, modern digital marketing tools, the basics of financial literacy, current government support programs and methods of effective personnel management.

Seminar participant in Lukoyanov Alexander Solovyov from the Pochinkovsky municipal district works in plastering and painting.

"I went to the draft office myself and asked for a summons. I felt needed by the Motherland. After nine months in the SVO zone I was demobilized for family reasons. Now I am developing in entrepreneurship, and the state is helping me with this. In the summer I turned to the Pochinkovsky Center for Entrepreneurship Support. Experts helped me at all stages of signing the social contract. With the 350,000 rubles I received I purchased modern equipment: a putty station, a sanding machine, professional lighting fixtures, a vacuum cleaner, spatulas. It was then that I learned about the 'SVOe Delo' project. Now I am gaining the business knowledge I lacked. At the business competency development seminar I was especially interested in the topic of artificial intelligence — I plan to use it to prepare cost estimates. I hope that with the help of the project I will be able to scale the business, hire employees, and in the future we will be able to take part in the restoration of liberated territories," Alexander Solovyov shared.

The educational course of the "SVOe Delo" program will continue until the end of November and will conclude with business games in which participants will learn to create business plans for their ventures. For the winners of the business games, staff of the "My Business" centers will develop individual development roadmaps taking into account current government support measures. The authors of the 10 best projects will be able to receive one of the services related to website development, an online store or another form of product promotion, product certification, brand book and business plan development, etc., free of charge. It is expected that about 140 people will take part in the "SVOe Delo" program during its implementation.

Recall that information about all business support measures at the federal and regional levels can be obtained at the "My Business" center (мойбизнес52.рф), which operates within the framework of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The center also operates the "My Business" hotline, where you can get all the necessary information. Hotline phone: 8 (800) 301-29-94 (toll-free).
