The investigation has reclassified the charge against political technologist Mikhail Khaluga, reports "Kommersant-Privolzhye".
He was initially arrested together with the former executive secretary of United Russia in Dzerzhinsk, Maria Kilina, in a case of receiving a commercial bribe in an especially large amount. Now, regarding Khaluga, it is not about the actual receipt but only about mediating in the transfer of the bribe. At the same time, the qualification of the charge against Kilina has remained unchanged.
The Moskovsky District Court extended the pre-trial detention of both persons involved in the case until November 4.
Earlier it emerged that the court had softened the preventive measure for the former head of the Nizhny Novgorod RANHiGS, Paramonov.
