In Nizhny Novgorod, a criminal case has been opened based on information from social media about the illegal sale of alcoholic products.

      During monitoring of the mass media, a report by a regional television company was identified, which stated that unlabelled alcoholic and alcohol-containing products were being circulated in one of the shops located in the Avtozavodsky District of the city of Nizhny Novgorod. By instruction of the head of the regional investigative directorate, Ayrat Saetovich Akhmetshin, an investigator of the investigative department for the Avtozavodsky District of the city of Nizhny Novgorod of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region has opened a criminal case on signs of an offense provided for in Part 1 of Article 171.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (retail sale of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products without the appropriate license). At present, investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia are conducting a number of investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident.
