The chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast, Evgeny Lyulin, took third place in the media ranking of heads of regional legislative bodies of the Russian Federation for August 2025. The study was prepared by the company Medialogia, which analyzed media mentions of 89 regional parliamentary leaders. Lyulin’s media index was 12,600.
The leaders of the ranking were the chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma, Igor Bryntsalov, with a score of 16,131, and the head of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, Vladimir Konstantinov, who scored 14,663 points.
Lyulin’s high media activity is linked to a number of public events and initiatives. In particular, he announced the holding of the next Congress of Small Towns of Grodno Region (Belarus) and Nizhny Novgorod Region (Russia). The forum will take place in 2026 in Bolshoye Boldino.
In addition, the chairman of the Legislative Assembly spoke at a meeting of the Council of Legislators of the Volga Federal District, where the development of special economic zones in the regions was discussed. The speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Nizhny Novgorod Oblast was also re-elected chairman of the Council of Legislators of the Volga Federal District.
Evgeny Lyulin also took part in a meeting of the Council under the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Volga Federal District. During the meeting he emphasized the importance of supporting young specialists and representatives of the working youth.
Additional media attention was attracted by the speaker of the Nizhny Novgorod parliament’s participation in a festive liturgy at the Seraphim-Diveyevo Monastery, timed to coincide with the day of the discovery of the relics of Venerable Seraphim of Sarov.
