      The sale of two houses and a plot of land belonging to former co-owner of TNS Energo Dmitry Arzhanov has been canceled. Information about this appeared on September 15 on the official trading platform.

      The real estate, located at 36 Novaya village in Nizhny Novgorod, was put up for auction with a starting price of 61.15 million rubles. The lot included a three-story house of 496 sq. m, a two-story house of 87.2 sq. m and a plot of land measuring 1,200 sq. m.

      The decision to sell was made in connection with mortgage debt enforced jointly against Arzhanov and the company LLC "New Energy Partnership". All the properties are under arrest by order of the Tverskoy Court of Moscow and are encumbered by a mortgage.

      The auction was announced at the end of May, and the sale date was set for June 23. However, on June 16 bailiffs ordered the suspension of the sale. The reason was investigative actions being carried out in relation to the debtor and the pledged property itself.

      Later, on September 12, the bailiff issued an order withdrawing the properties from the sale. Thus, the sale was finally canceled.

      Recall that Dmitry Arzhanov is accused of embezzling funds from Rosseti Center and Privolzhye, as well as of participating in an organized criminal group. Investigators believe that top managers of TNS Energo funneled consumer electricity payments to offshore accounts instead of paying the supplier. The criminal case was referred to court at the end of 2023.
