From September 22 to October 12, 2025, the first "Digital Lesson" of the new school year on the topic "AI Agents" will take place. The lesson partner and content developer is Sberbank’s charitable foundation "Contribution to the Future" with expert support from Sber and the GigaChat team.

The "Digital Lessons" are run by the Autonomous Nonprofit Organization (ANO) "Digital Economy" together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media and the Ministry of Education of Russia in support of the federal project "Personnel for Digital Transformation" of the national project "Economy of Data and Digital Transformation of the State", implemented on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.

An AI agent is a system that autonomously collects data and performs tasks with it independently of a human. As the organizers note, AI agents are the next step in the evolution of artificial intelligence. They turn AI from a tool into an independent assistant capable of acting without constant human supervision. AI agents write code, generate images, analyze data, and automate routine tasks. Studying AI agents provides an understanding of how the digital world of tomorrow will be organized.

"Artificial intelligence is becoming one of the key areas of technological development in the world today. AI-based solutions are being actively implemented and used across various sectors of the economy. The first 'Digital Lesson' of the new season is devoted to an interesting and timely topic — AI agents. Schoolchildren will be able to learn how AI agents are structured and how to apply them in practice. Lessons like this engage students with the agenda of digital technologies — an important step in forming a qualified talent pool for the further development of the IT industry," said Sergey Plugotarenko, General Director of ANO "Digital Economy."

"Thanks to the nationwide 'Digital Lesson' project, we are making a joint contribution to a future in which humans and artificial intelligence will work in synergy. We have created accessible and easy-to-understand content that meets both the current demands of the times and the interests of all participants in the educational process," said Petr Polozhevets, Executive Director of the "Contribution to the Future" charitable foundation.

The lesson is designed so that the training is interesting for schoolchildren of all ages. A mobile version has been developed for comfortable completion of the lesson on different devices.

The "Digital Lesson" materials are accompanied by methodological recommendations for teachers. These will offer lesson scenarios that take into account varying levels of technical equipment in classrooms. For additional teacher preparation for the "Digital Lesson", a remote training event with the lesson developers will be held on September 17 on the project's website uroktsifry.rf.
