      For the convenience of passengers and to improve transport accessibility, the Gorky Railway has introduced an additional stop for the suburban train running on the Varya–Zavolzhye route in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      Electric train No. 6452, which departs at 07:50 and arrives at 08:58, now stops at Narodnaya platform in the Sormovsky district of Nizhny Novgorod at 08:06.

      Sergey Dorofeevsky, head of the Gorky Railway — a branch of JSC Russian Railways (RZD), noted that in August the route of electric train No. 6046 Varya–Pochinki on the Zavolzhsky section had already been extended to Pravdinsk station. According to him, this made it possible to reduce the interval between trains toward Balakhna to 30 minutes. He stressed that such changes are part of the implementation of the "City Electric Train" project in Nizhny Novgorod.

      Also, recall that in September the Gorky mainline introduced additional stops for commuter trains connecting Nizhny Novgorod with Metallist, Gorokhovets and Sechuga stations.

      Earlier it was reported that the Gorky Railway will launch new tourist routes in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
