Residents of Nizhny Novgorod can voice their opinion on the bill against "razlivaek".

      A bill to ban "razlivaek" in apartment buildings and near social facilities is undergoing a regulatory impact assessment. Public consultations on the document run from 15 September to 16 October 2025. Recall that the bill was introduced to the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod Region by the CPRF faction.

      According to the draft, it is planned to restrict the retail sale of alcoholic products, including when providing public catering services, in multi-apartment residential buildings, dormitories and near them, as well as near retail markets, railway stations, airports, and industrial strategic facilities. It is also proposed to introduce restrictions on the sale of alcohol inside and near educational and healthcare organizations, and cultural and sports institutions.

      The authors of the initiative emphasize that the aim of the law is to increase public safety, especially for citizens living near "razlivaek", and to reduce the number of offenses related to alcohol consumption in residential areas. In their opinion, adopting the law will help improve the demographic situation and reduce risks to citizens' lives and health.

      Residents of the region can leave their suggestions and comments on the official portal of regulatory legal acts during the period of public consultations.

      It was previously reported that the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region continues to work on the bill that restricts the sale of alcohol in the region.
