David Melik-Guseinov is leaving the post of CEO of "Pari NN".

      The general director of the football club Pari Nizhny Novgorod, David Melik-Guseynov, announced that he has ended his work at the Nizhny Novgorod club. He reported this on his Telegram channel immediately after the team’s match against Orenburg.

      As Melik-Guseynov wrote, it is time to say thank you and move on. He also noted that he intends to focus on other projects, the details of which he will reveal later.

      "I am very grateful to Nizhny Novgorod for accepting me and giving me the opportunity to be a part of it. I thank Gleb Sergeevich for the chance to gain powerful experience all these years. I devoted myself completely to work and creation. Thank you to everyone who was by my side and helped me all this time," he emphasized.

      In his message Melik-Guseynov also thanked the club’s supporters, noting that during his tenure a large and varied, but united army of fans was formed.

      "I will continue to believe in our team together with you. Today was a very important victory!! Guys, good luck and stay injury-free!" he added.

      Recall that David Melik-Guseynov took charge of FC Pari NN in July 2023. Before that he served as Minister of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region and was deputy governor during the pandemic. Interestingly, at the end of August, when the first information about the general director’s departure appeared, Melik-Guseynov called not to spread rumors.

      Now the selection of candidates for the position will be handled by the head of the Center for Regional Sports Management, Maxim Gafurov.

      Earlier it was reported that Pari NN beat Orenburg 3:1 in the first match after the championship pause.
