In Nizhny Novgorod, traffic police are investigating the circumstances of a serious crash involving a teenager that claimed the life of a young passenger. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Nizhny Novgorod Oblast.
According to preliminary information, the accident occurred at 00:10 on 13 September near one of the houses on Fedorovsky Embankment. A 16-year-old boy was behind the wheel of a VAZ car. He lost control, the car struck a curb and overturned.
The passenger, who was 19, died at the scene from his injuries.
Police found that the car had been taken off the registration records as early as January 2025.
State Traffic Inspectorate officers are continuing to determine all the details of the incident.
Earlier it was reported that three people, including a child, died in a terrible road accident in the Dalnekonstantinovsky District.
