In his Telegram channel, the editor-in-chief of the medical information agency "Stacionar-Press," Alexey Nikonov, published a comment from the Nizhny Novgorod oncology center on the situation. The oncology center confirmed that narrow-specialty appointments for new patients were indeed moved to Nizhny Novgorod, except for urologists and mammologists — such specialists are available in Dzerzhinsk. "This was done to reduce waiting times for appointments in Dzerzhinsk and to speed up the start of treatment — ultimately such patients still have to be referred to Nizhny on Delovaya. However, Dzerzhinsk residents will be monitored after treatment by oncologists at their place of residence," the medical institution emphasized.

      Recall that doctors from Hospital No. 13 and the cardiac center saved a Nizhny Novgorod resident with a rare heart tumor.
