In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a woman was ordered to pay more than 90,000 rubles for refusing to work as a tram driver after completing training, the press service of the Urensky District Court reported.

In June 2024, the Nizhny Novgorod woman enrolled in targeted training to become a tram driver. Under the contract, after its completion she was to be employed by the company and begin working in the acquired profession. However, in August of the same year the woman filed an application to terminate the contract.

The parties agreed that the former trainee would reimburse the costs incurred for her training, but this requirement was not met. The enterprise then went to court. The woman was ordered to pay 91,000 rubles for the training, as well as the company's court costs.
