The artistic director of a children's camp in Gorodets is suspected of corrupting a 15-year-old girl.

      Incidents: The caregiver-DJ of the children's sanatorium "Gorodets" is suspected of having an intimate relationship with a 15-year-old girl who arrived for the summer session.

      As a relative of one of the camp's staff told the editorial team of the program "Kstati" (16+), the girl arrived at the sanatorium in May as a regular guest. However, she soon began to spend more and more time with the man, and eventually even moved into his room, where she stayed until the end of the summer.

      According to eyewitnesses, the room provided to the DJ by the camp became their shared living space. In August, police officers arrived on the camp grounds. During an inspection of the premises they found used contraceptives and other items that had nothing to do with educational activities.

      The man was well known to the children because he regularly hosted discos and was actively involved in camp life. This, parents say, is particularly upsetting because a person trusted by the children is now suspected of committing a crime against a minor.

      Previously this employee worked at another camp in the Gorodetsky district. According to former colleagues, he worked alongside an artistic director who was convicted of a similar crime seven years ago.

      After the story became public, the suspect was fired. In a conversation with journalists he declined to give detailed comments and stated that there was nothing between him and the girl.

      The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Article 134 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intercourse and other sexual acts with a person under sixteen years of age"). Under this article the man faces up to four years' imprisonment.

      Earlier it was reported that the beating of a child by his father in a Nizhny Novgorod hospital resulted in a criminal case.
