Metro construction workers are being sought in Nizhny Novgorod with salaries of up to 240,000 rubles.

      Economy: Electric and gas welders on the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod metro are to be paid from 240,000 rubles — the company Mosproekt‑3 announced recruitment of employees to work on metro facilities. Information about the vacancies was posted on the enterprise’s official social networks.

      The project requires both skilled laborers and engineering and technical personnel. Workers are offered a rotational work schedule — primarily 30/30. Installers, concrete workers and rebar workers are promised salaries from 160,000 rubles take‑home, insulators — from 170,000, and carpenters, fitters/locksmiths, riggers and general laborers — from 120,000 to 150,000 rubles.

      Separate recruitment is underway for tunnel boring machine (TBM) operators with salaries from 158,000 rubles and mine foremen — from 160,000. They are offered a 15/15 rotation.

      Vacancies are also open for engineering and technical specialists. A construction control engineer with mandatory membership in NOSTROY can expect 180,000 rubles per month. A power engineer is offered 130,500 rubles, a PTO engineer — 120,000. These positions have a 5/2 work schedule.

      The company guarantees official employment, provides housing, meals, workwear, and also reimburses travel and medical examination costs.

      Earlier it was reported that the tunnel boring machine advanced half a kilometer of the second tunnel from Sennoy station to Ploshchad Svobody.
