      Financing of the reconstruction of the Gordeevsky viaduct in Nizhny Novgorod has still not been determined. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the city's Department of Transport and Road Management.

      According to the master plan and the comprehensive program for the development of transport infrastructure for the period up to 2030, a multi-level transport interchange is planned in the area of Dolzhanskaya Street. At the same time, the existing overpass is expected to be demolished.

      The project documentation for the facility was developed back in 2011 and received a positive conclusion from the state expertise. According to a 2016 estimate, the construction cost was about 6.05 billion rubles.

      Despite the readiness of the project documentation and the inclusion of the interchange in strategic documents, the reconstruction is currently not financed from the city, regional or federal budget.

      Earlier it became known that the Gordeevsky viaduct was excluded from the concession agreement for the modernization of the tram network. Instead, Ilinskaya Street was included in the plan.

      It was also reported that the road surface on the viaduct had been replaced. The repair works concerned only the carriageway and did not affect the structure of the facility.

      In addition, it became known about the temporary suspension of the major overhaul of the overpass at the Myzinsky Bridge due to a delay in the delivery of span beams.
