      An employee of the municipal healthcare institution "Milk Kitchen" in the Avtozavodsky district, who was injured as a result of a boiler explosion, is in satisfactory condition, representatives of the institution said.

      The injured woman will receive all necessary assistance. She is currently in the burn unit of the Privolzhsky Research Medical University; her condition is not cause for concern and does not require serious medical intervention. The woman is awaiting discharge and intends to return to work.

      Recall that the incident occurred in a production workshop on Krasnodontsev Street. While making cottage cheese, the boiler suddenly failed, as a result the nurse's aide was scalded with hot milk. She has burns on 20% of her body surface.

      According to preliminary data, the cause of the incident was the failure of the safety valve to operate. An internal investigation and equipment inspection are currently underway to prevent similar situations in the future.

      Earlier it was reported that a worker from Nizhny Novgorod suddenly died at the construction site of the El-Dabaa nuclear power plant in Egypt.
