NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" - Anastasia Nazarova

The Investigative Committee did not open a criminal case after the death of former participant of the scandalous TV show "Dom-2" (18+) Polina Malinina. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the press service of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The department said there were no grounds to initiate a case because there was no criminal element in the death of the Nizhny Novgorod resident.

Recall that the former "Dom-2" participant was found dead in an apartment. The body of the 24-year-old woman lay there for several days until friends raised the alarm. Footage from the building's entrance cameras showed that the day before Malinina entered the building with a man, and in the morning he left without her. A source in law enforcement told NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" that Malinina was poisoned by drugs.

Notably, Malinina headed the local branch of the MaryWay modeling agency, whose activities drew the attention of law enforcement. A criminal fraud case was opened. More than 300 people from nine Russian regions were recognized as victims. They appealed to the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, asking for help with the investigation.
