      From September 5 to 7, the 28th All-Russian weightlifting tournament "Golden Domes," dedicated to the memory of honored Russian coach Viktor Petrovich Kuznetsov, was held in Vladimir. The competition traditionally gathered the strongest athletes from across the country — this year 138 participants competed for the victory. Among them was Vyksa native Pavel Frolov, who posted an excellent result, taking third place in the up to 81 kg weight class. His final results: snatch — 110 kg, clean and jerk — 125 kg.

      "It's a pity I didn't lock out on the last attempt — it wasn't counted. I lifted the bar, but couldn't perform it technically. I only have positive emotions from the tournament," Pavel shared his impressions.
