Nizhny Novgorod residents are invited to take part in the All-Russian educational campaign "IT Dictation," which will provide an opportunity to test their knowledge in the field of information technology. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development of the Russian Federation.
The event is timed to Programmer's Day, which is celebrated each year on the 256th day of the year — in 2025 this is September 13. The organizer of the campaign is the Department of Informatization of the Tyumen Region. Since 2018 the IT Dictation has been held in all regions of the country.
According to Alexander Sinelobov, Minister of Digital Development and Communications of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, participants will have to complete a test consisting of tasks of varying difficulty. They cover a wide range of topics — from basic computer and internet skills to modern areas such as blockchain and the Internet of Things.
He emphasized that the dictation will help determine the level of digital readiness and identify areas that need development. In the context of digitalization, this knowledge is useful not only in professional activities but also in everyday life.
Testing can be taken from September 12 to 13, 2025, on the campaign's official platform — ит-диктант.рф. Participants will be offered three levels of difficulty to choose from: for younger schoolchildren, standard, and advanced.
Holding such events is part of the tasks of the new national project "Data Economy and Digital Transformation of the State," which started in Russia on January 1, 2025, at the instruction of President Vladimir Putin. This project is a continuation of the national project "Digital Economy."
It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod residents can confirm their IT skills via the "Gosuslugi" portal.
