Photos have emerged from the scene of a collision between a tugboat and an inflatable boat in the Kstovo district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The footage was shared with NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by a source in law enforcement agencies.
According to available information, the motor vessel "Kavkaz" was towing two barges. At the 950 km mark of the Volga's navigable channel it rammed an inflatable boat without a motor. The fisherman fell into the water and went missing.
Our source clarified that the boat was found between the barges and recovered. However, the man has not yet been found.
It was reported that checks into the incident are being carried out by both investigators of the Investigative Committee and officers of the transport prosecutor's office.
