Incidents: 20 people were evacuated and 11 were rescued from a fire in an apartment building on Gagarin Avenue in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the regional department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the agency, the fire broke out in one of the apartments. The fire was extinguished over an area of 5 square meters. Twenty-three specialists from the emergency agency took part in extinguishing the fire.
It is noted that among those rescued with the help of masks were three children. As a result, no one was injured.
Preliminarily, the fire broke out due to a violation of the rules for using electrical equipment.
Earlier it was reported that two people died in a fire in the Voskresensky district. The Investigative Committee is looking into the circumstances of the incident.
