      Incidents: A fight on Lenin Street in Kstovo resulted in a police probe.

      The incident became known from social networks, where a video from the scene was posted. The footage shows a crowd of people. Apparently, a verbal altercation broke out that escalated into a fight. At one point a man rushed at another and struck him so that he fell, narrowly avoiding hitting his head on a bench. The fight then continued.

      Law enforcement saw the online post and decided to find out exactly what happened. The identities of the participants have already been established. After the check, their actions will be given a legal assessment, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Nizhny Novgorod Region said.

      The police also clarified that no complaints had been filed about the incident.

      Earlier it was reported that two teenagers beat an elderly woman for several days in the Gorodetsky district. The victim was hospitalized. A criminal case has been opened by the police. The Investigative Committee also plans to open a case — this was ordered by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin.
