      On September 5 in Nizhny Novgorod, tram service resumed on route No. 417. This was reported by LLC "Ecological Projects."

      This was made possible by the completion of major construction and installation work and the opening of traffic at the "GAZ 6th checkpoint" transport hub.

      Trams will operate between the "52nd Quarter" and "Igarskaya Street" stops via Molodezhny Avenue, Kirov Avenue, Lenin Avenue and Novikova-Priboy Street.

      Trams No. 8 have also returned to their usual route. They now again run on the "Igarskaya Street – Malyshevo Ring" route. It was temporarily shortened from July 11 due to reconstruction at the third switch and the closure of traffic from Kirov Avenue to the Avtozavodskaya metro station.

      The complete reconstruction of the tram tracks and the extension of route No. 8 to the Gnilitsy settlement are planned to be finished in the fourth quarter of this year.

      At the same time, from September 8 tram traffic on routes No. 12 and No. 22 in the Avtozavodsky district will be temporarily suspended. This is due to the start of construction and installation work on the "Sotsgorod-1" and "Sotsgorod-2" sections.

      Earlier it was reported that from September 8 tram No. 2 will be launched. It will run from Cherny Pond via Sennaya Square, Belinsky Street and Lyadov Square to Maslyakov Street and back.
