      Economy: The Bank of Russia has extended the existing restrictions on the issuance of cash foreign currency for six months, the TV channel "360.ru" reports.

      According to the decision, citizens who opened foreign currency accounts before March 9, 2022, will still be able to withdraw no more than 10,000 US dollars or the equivalent of that amount in another currency at one time.

      At the same time, banks are not legally allowed to charge a fee when issuing foreign currency cash.

      For non-resident companies, the restrictions remain stricter — they still cannot receive cash in dollars, euros, pounds sterling or Japanese yen. An exception is allowed for residents: receiving currency in cash is permitted only for business travel expenses.
