Economy — 32 participants of the "SVOyo Delo" project attended seminars on developing business competencies held in Navashino, Semyonov and the town of Bor in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

The project is being implemented by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship and the regional "My Business" center with the support of the branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, the "Work of Russia" personnel center, the Department of Labor and Employment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Center for Social Innovation, and the Corporate University of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in accordance with the goals and objectives of the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."

"The aim of the 'SVOyo Delo' project is not just to help participants start businesses, but to minimize risks and ensure their successful development, including through the use of government support measures. That is why we chose a comprehensive approach to implementing the project. Most participants have already completed an online course on the basics of entrepreneurial activity and professional diagnostics. Now participants are mastering business tools at seminars in the region’s districts; training has already been completed by 59 people from eight municipalities. Educational events will be held in six more districts of the region by the end of September," said Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

Participants of the "SVOyo Delo" project from the urban districts of Semenovsky, Navashinsky, Vyksa, Kulebaki, Bor, as well as from the Ardatovsky, Krasnobakovsky and Voskresensky municipal districts, attended seminars in Semyonov, Navashino and the town of Bor.

Program participants from these municipalities plan to develop businesses related to furniture manufacturing, construction, agricultural activities, public catering, clothing tailoring, metalworking, car repair, writing literary works, accounting services, and fish farming.

Daniil Pechennikov from Vyksa, a participant in the seminar in Navashino, served in the army for more than 14 years. At 18 he was drafted for conscript service, and after its completion he continued to serve under contract. During his service he visited hot spots more than once and took part in a special military operation. He was awarded two "For Courage" medals. Now Daniil plans to start his own business in construction, specializing in interior finishing of residential premises.

"When I ran out of money to hire workers while building my own house, I turned to online lessons and learned all the nuances myself. The result exceeded expectations, and soon I was already helping relatives and friends with renovations. That's when I realized these skills could be used for my own business. The 'SVOyo Delo' project is helping me implement my plans. The knowledge gained in the project's training modules is becoming the foundation of my future work. In the near future I plan to register a business and start working, and in the long term — to develop it and provide jobs to SVO veterans, including disabled veterans," said Daniil Pechennikov.

Overall, it is planned that more than 140 residents of the Nizhny Novgorod Region — participants of the special military operation and their family members — will undergo training under the "SVOyo Delo" project. The educational course will run until the end of December. For the winners of the business games, "My Business" center staff will develop individual development maps taking into account current government support measures. The authors of the 10 best projects will be able to receive one of the services free of charge, related to website development, online store or other formats of product promotion, product certification, brand book and business plan development, etc.

As a reminder, information on all business support measures at the federal and regional levels can be obtained at the "My Business" center (мойбизнес52.рф), which operates within the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy." The center also runs the "My Business" hotline, where you can get all the necessary information. Hotline phone number: 8 (800) 301-29-94 (toll-free).

The national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy," initiated by the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, will become the main tool for forming a new growth model. It includes federal projects aimed at developing small and medium-sized enterprises, increasing labor productivity, boosting investment activity, low-carbon development, and developing the state system of statistics and forecasting.
